Whether a track-renewal train, tamping machine, ZECK unit, pile driver or locomotive – , SPITZKE’s technology and rolling stock includes the right track, contact line and transport equipment in all performance classes for every railway infrastructure project. With 34 track-laying machines and 21 locomotives, we always guarantee parallel deployment of equivalent technology in all areas, for both standard and individual solutions. These are operated by experienced machinists who are also qualified mechanics. This means that a technician with detailed knowledge of the machine is always on site. The high reliability of the SPITZKE technology and rolling stock is ensured by servicing, maintenance, inspection and further development in the Group’s workshops.
We use machines such as the UM-S 2001, RM 900 S, RPM-RS-900 and road-rail excavators to change sleepers and rails, for ballast recycling, tamping and profiling, ballast cleaning, formation rehabilitation and crane and excavator work.
We build foundations for contact line and overhead line masts, signal cantilevers, signal bridges, wind turbines and sheet piling using large equipment such as track and land-based pile-drivers. Among other things, the Wirth ECODRILL 11 caterpillar piledriver and the Krupp track-mounted drill and pile-drivers are used.
With specialised technology, for example, the ZECK complex laying unit, we implement complete projects for contact line construction, and for the installation of rail power systems for mainline and regional railways, urban and underground railways and tramways and city rail systems.
The SPITZKE technology and rolling stock has more than 20 company-owned locomotives in all performance classes and railway wagons and ancillary vehicles ready for assignment for construction site logistics and rail transport.
